Once again this year, visitors can get away from the hustle and bustle of the Show at our Wellness Island with the healing stones. Specialists discuss themes like precious stone massages and acupressure, precious stone oils or the Precious stone Balance wellness programme and give an opportunity for "tactile" treatments. Almost every renowned expert in the industry uses the Show as a meeting point to exchange information on the latest developments in the course of information stands, massage presentations and specialist talks at the Mineral Forum. The wellness area at the Munich Mineral Show has been expanded again for 2009 - visitors can now also get healing stone massages in separate cabins.
Wellness Massage with Precious Stones
One of the most successful wellness massages with precious stones is the "Precious Stone Balance" - a holistic massage that brings deep wellbeing to body and soul. The whole body is massaged in seven steps with precious stones in various forms - stylus, balls, soap and drum stones. The "Aurum Manus Massage" precious stone massage has a therapeutic effect on tinnitus and migraines. Precious stone balls are heated in an oil cup and then used in a flowing massage with warm oil and special massage holds.
Healing Precious Stone Water
Cleaned "precious stone water" energised by swirling offers a very pleasant refreshment to counter fatigue. The stones activate the structures, minerals and trace elements in the water and, in so doing, purify it. Some precious stones, like amethyst, quartz and rose quartz keep the water fresh for longer. Others give it a harmonising, invigorating or healing quality. In contrast, "false" minerals can also cause undesired effects.
